I just purchased the new 2016 Quicken for Mac. I've been running the 2007 Upgrade and it works great. Use it primarily for Banking. When I attempted to convert, the 2016 only picked up about a year's worth of transactions. Getting on line with Quicken Help is a joke. I've been using Quicken since 1993. Here's my question. Should I uninstall 2016 and attempt to reinstall. Quicken Help says I need to use a .qdfm Version to upgrade. I make a copy of my current Quicken, and it says Copy of Quicken 2007.qdfm. Is this the version I want to use when converting to 2016?
I/m running El Capitan, Version 10.11.3

- The last time there was a true update for Quicken for Mac was in 2007. Quicken Essentials for Mac was released after that, but no one really takes that app seriously. Previously, for Mac users who liked using Quicken, it was necessary to run VMware Fusion and use the Windows version.
